Chiropractic

What is chiropractic?

Chiropractic care is a hands-on, non-invasive health care discipline focused on the neuromusculoskeletal system. Chiropractors treat using a full body approach to health. By assessing the joints, muscles and nervous system of the body and addressing any areas of dysfunction, the body is able to function more optimally, move better and heal itself effectively.

What to Expect During Your Visit

The chiropractic approach to care starts with a thorough history and physical exam and is followed by the presentation of the exam findings along with a treatment plan recommendation tailored to each individual's goals.

Chiropractic Treatments Offered:

Pediatric Chiropractic
Contemporary Medical Acupuncture
Prenatal Chiropractic & Webster Technique
SHIFT Concussion Management
Tongue/Lip Tie Treatment
Three stages of care
Relief or Acute Care
This phase is designed to relieve any pain and discomfort arising from the condition. In this stage you can expect frequent, carefully timed visits.

Rehabilitative or Supportive Care
This phase is designed to treat the underlying cause of the original symptoms by correcting dysfunction. This will promote a more complete and optimal healing environment for the affected tissues. In this stage you can expect a decreasing frequency of visits which can be supplemented by home exercises as well as work and lifestyle modifications.

Maintenance or Wellness Care
The final phase of care is designed to maintain the improved function and prevent the return of the original condition. Another benefit of regular care is the detection of small problems before they become more serious. In this stage the visits are much less frequent.
