A self-proclaimed “anatomy- geek”, Pam Lawson chose to follow her dream and graduated from the Canadian College of Massage and Hydrotherapy in May 2018. With a passion for women’s and family health, she has seen first-hand the benefits of massage on those suffering from chronic pain, respiratory disease as well as digestive concerns. While in school, she built on her education with a placement with Trimesters prenatal course in Toronto, having the opportunity to work with high risk, post-partum and laboring mothers at Sunnybrook Hospital.
Combining soothing massage with analytical assessments and thinking, Pam uses various modalities to achieve effective results. She has been trained in Swedish massage, as well as myofascial release, joint mobilizations, manual lymph drainage and trigger point therapy, among others. Pam plans to further her knowledge over the course of her career by taking continuing courses in manual lymph drainage and visceral manipulation.
